Essentially a two-man, Son and Father team means that there is a high degree of overlap when it comes to distributing the work load. However, we do have specific specialities which can be broken down into the following.
Finn: Marketing and Sales guru. Finn, (the inspiration for our business name) is currently an A-level student, and enjoys combining the theory of his Business Studies and Economics courses with the practical skills involved in running a small enterprise, especially one that puts sustainability and conservation at its core.
Kev: Chief designer and Craftsman. Kev loves the fact that his workshop stands in a corner of our rambling garden on the edges of Ilkley Moor, where we are frequently visited by inquisitive locals.
Our garden has provided a rich source of wood for many of our most popular items, especially after the violent storms of recent years. While it is always sad to see a beloved tree fall victim to gales, it is so satisfying to see our coasters and tealights emerge from broken branches.
All profits from the business are directed into Finn’s University fund for the next few years.
